PLANOTEX GmbH was found in 1973 as engineering and consulting company for the industry. Since 1984 PLANOTEX GmbH concentrated its activities in pollution control especially in the field of industrial wastewater.Today with its highly specialized partner companies it is covering diverging spheres of activity; - industrial wastewater treatment – municipal waste water treatment – sludge treatment.

During the start mainly filter and flotation systems were designed to serve the industry. However due to higher discharge specifications and surcharges set forth by the authorities, PLANOTEX GmbH developed corrugated plate pack systems to be installed in existing flotation units to meet these discharge specifications.

In the course of time and with the formation of a staff of well experienced and qualified engineers, this basic idea has developed into most advanced and complete water treatment systems, including mechanical, chemical-physical and/or biological water treatment. Such even the most heavily polluted effluents can be purified.

For countries with water shortage or with severe restriction concerning unsanitary bacteria or viruses in the effluent of active sludge systems, we have developed systems with membrane technology.

Sludge, such as flotation sludge or surplus sludge from biological systems are treated with decanter, chamber or belt press. Another option is the treatment with an anaerobic reactor with the advantage of considerable volume reduction and generation of biogas, which can be used for heating or electrical power generation.

One of our partner companies is specialized on the field of consulting and designing municipal sewage treatment plants. They have over 20 years of experience in civil and process engineering of municipal wastewater treatment plants.

The aim is the common development of economical and future-oriented solutions in the water resources and the waste disposal management.

For procedural and hydraulic calculations special computer simulation programs are available enabling us to offer for each project the optimal solution.

Our second partner company stands for innovative and technically sophisticated concepts in the treatment of organic sludge and waste or wastewater with the fermenter technology.

 

It is an experienced team of engineers and technicians able to find a suitable solution, which is individual for each specification and is in accordance with the situation and the legal rules

Furthermore we have an existing co-operation with a company collecting biological household waste. Herewith the complete know how for collecting, conditioning and utilization of biological waste by fermenting, biogas production and production of energy is available to us.
